Everybody is into organic food these days. And understandably so, right? Who wants to put something into their digestive system that is full of chemicals? That's why for me, organic soap is a no-brainer.
Yep, it's true. I love to eat soap. It started out when I was a teenager when I muttered, "What the H - E - double hockey sticks???" under my breath after my mom told me that I had to take a shower because I hadn't taken one if four days (still seems unreasonable to me). You see, I never liked rubbing that slimy bar all over my body... but when my mom grabbed a fresh bar and washed my mouth out wi
th it, I gained a whole new appreciation for the stuff. I'm not a big fan of Dove or Zest, but the right organic, artisan soap just has a wonderfully-complex, nutty, earthy flavor. Sure, it's a bit of an acquired taste for most people, but isn't that the way it is with most of the finer things in life?
NOTE: Although Zambian Soap smells wonderful and IS organic, please don't eat it. Do yourself and your friends a favor, however, and DO shower regularly with it.
